MCB(MICROBIOLOGY) vs MCT(Microbiology Technology)

MCB vs MCT.
Good evening all,
Well I was asked by a friend today about which to choose between MCB and MCT because she was given double admission (MCB on the merit list and MCT on basic list), and this simple yet complicated question provoked me to do some research and I thought it wise to put my results our here as It may help clear some other confused citizen .
First of all they are both MICROBIOLOGY technically the only difference is that the MCT is under the faculty of SLT (Science laboratory technology) and thus they carry out induction and oath taking after completing there study during which license of practice is awarded to them . Next ,
1. MCB =4YEARS and MCT =5YEARS (We already know that)
2. with MCT you are trained to be a technologist and a microbiologist and MCT is more about NANOBOTS technology which Nigeria doesn't know much about yet and doesn't practice fully  .
Still researching tho...
3. The only edge per say that MCT has over MCB is that they are given a license to open or start of a laboratory pertaining to the field of MICROBIOLOGY we're as a MCB graduate who could still work in a diagnostic laboratory can't open his own laboratory until he or she goes through some strenuous processes to get certification. That's all
But in all education isn't the passbook to a good job or success in life trust me I have seen dentistry students than are working in banks, what really matters is your first GOD,dedication, focus, ambitions,and strong will power. So everything is up to you look into your heart ask yourself what you would lover to do and do it not because of what others may say it think.
